We’re Building Something New — And We Made an AI Brand Film to Kick It Off
B150 — a community for builders. Watch our AI-made film and join the private beta.

Did you know we launched a new product we’re incubating through Academy?
It’s called B150, and it's a professional social network for multidisciplinary builders shaping the future through design, code, storytelling, music, art, marketing, and tech. If you’re launching side projects, learn about AI, building with AI tools, or just trying to create something that makes people feel something — B150 is where cool things on the internet are born.
To kick things off, we made a short film.
🎵 Music: “The Daily Mail” by Radiohead
🎥 Directed by Aaron Adler
It’s the story of a boy secretly building a rocket, doubted by others — until the moment he finally launches it. It’s a metaphor for what we’re building: a space where ideas turn into real things, and creators launch work in the open.
Aaron really pushed the boundaries of generative AI tools to bring it to life:
- Runway Gen-4 Turbo for fast, cinematic quality
- Kling 2.0 for scene direction and movement
- Higgsfield for dynamic orbital/reaction shots
- Google Veo 2 for the long rocket sequence
- Topaz Labs via Replicate for clean 4K vertical upscaling
- Even the sound effects are AI-generated with Eleven Labs
- I did a little bit of editing and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere to make it all come together.
Just 1% editing polish in After Effects and Premiere. 99% Gen AI + Aaron's brilliant mind.
If you’re part of the Academy community, you’re exactly the kind of person we want inside B150. It’s a space to share what you’re building, learn from others, and get early access to tools, feedback, and community support.
